All women want to feel special on their birthdays. There is nothing that makes them feel more special than the birthday present their boyfriends give them. Here are a few tips that you need to keep in mind about what not to buy if you are looking around for birthday present for your girlfriend.
Don’t ever buy fake flowers for your girl if you want to keep her in your life. Your logical thinking that real flowers will die whereas fake flowers will remain forever has no meaning to her. No woman ever wants to keep anything fake be it flowers or diamonds, for the rest of her life.
Buying electronic appliances like blender, toaster, food processor or vacuum cleaner for your girlfriend is a thoroughly bad idea. She won’t be impressed and may get the idea that you visualize her as your cook or maid.  
Buying clothing for a girlfriend without being sure about her size and preference is a perilous job. If you think that you can imagine her size when you look at lingerie then it just doesn’t work that way. Many relationships are sacrificed on the altar of clothes that were too small to fit. 
Buying cheap jewellery should not even be an option as it would send out the message that she is not worth much to you.  For women jewellery is a serious business and $5.00 earrings don’t stand a chance. She will take one look at it and know what its worth.
